How to heal your relationship with money and attract abundance

Money is a powerful weapon in the wrong hands. In the right hands, however, it acts as a doorway to prosperity. Ever since the dawn of civilisation, humans have traded, earned, won and lost.

Money is a way to standardise transactions and define the value of all that we need to survive.

But, money doesn’t just determine the value of what we own. It denighs our value and our social standing.

This is why many of us have built a negative relationship with it.

Why Do You Need To Mend Your Relationship With Money?

We often use money as an excuse to devalue, demean and disrespect ourselves and others. Every human life is valuable. But, because of the power the collective consciousness has conferred on money, it has become an entity itself – one that dictates many of our thoughts and behaviours.

Money is not the root of evil. However, it can and often does act as a catalyst. This is why it is important to build a good relationship with money.

This is not an easy task. Ironically, there is a price to pay. But, I assure you that you will be glad to pay this price.

4 Simple Steps To Heal Your Relationship With Money

You need money to live a comfortable life. But, you also need money to attract opportunities that will help you live a comfortable life.

But, how can you do that? How can you make money without money?

#1 Be Open To Give And Receive Help

This is much more complicated than it sounds. Is there anyone in your life who you would never ask for help? I’m sure you can give a list of more than 5 people.

And, are there people in your life to whom you will never be open to lend money, no matter what?

Again, I’m sure you have a big list ready in your mind. I’m sure you have your reasons to deny help to these people.

But, to heal your relationship with money, you irst need to understand it. You need to deine its value in your life.

Making these lists is a good way to do that. It will help you deine your relationship with money.

We don’t live in an ideal world. If we don’t help each other, we will not be able to survive.

It is okay to dislike people. But, you need to open your heart. Where money inds the least resistance, it flows.

Is your heart truly open to it? It’s time to ind out.

#2 Set Boundaries

Don’t let money dictate the depth of your feelings (positive or otherwise) for people.

Recognize your true value. Until you do that, you will continue to ind it in others. The world isn’t just full of kind people. If you are not careful, narcissists and energy vampires will drain you and your bank account.

Honour yourself and learn to set boundaries.

Don’t let others dictate how you feel about yourself and your bank balance. You are more powerful than you realize. You will never lack what you believe you have. And, you will never have what you believe you lack.

Setting boundaries with yourself and others is crucial to building a healthy relationship with money.

#3 Express Gratitude

Gratitude is one of the most powerful ways to open your heart to abundance. Every day, make a list of 10 things you are grateful for, no matter how big or small. Give this list to Mother Earth through a ritual or ceremony at the end of every month, season, or year.

Define your currency for every relationship in your life. It shouldn’t always be money. Learn to love yourself and others unconditionally.

Once you do that, you will truly be able to live an abundant life.
We need money to survive. But, we require so much more to live a happy life.

#4 Celebrate Your Value

You deserve all that you need. Trust that it will come at the right time. Don’t judge yourself for what you do not have.

Instead, recognise the value you bring to others’ lives. Honour yourself. Respect what you bring to the table.

Pick any day of the year to pamper yourself, and over yourself the love that you feel money can buy you.

This is why we celebrate birthdays – to honour our value as human beings. We don’t need to do or have anything to deserve love. We are valuable.

Allow money to come to you. Trust that it will. It may take time. But, know that you deserve it, no questions asked. The Universe recognizes your value, do you?
